Almost two years ago, my long-time dream of full-time freelancing became a reality, and MANMAN (our ever-evolving and growing creative studio) was born.
I've never believed in having a specific style or only working in one medium. Being able to cross styles AND media while also understanding how to appeal to radically different audiences has always been important to me.
Throughout the last two years, I've worked with some amazing clients, met incredible people and had some really crazy, unexpected opportunities (London, England...FO REAL?!). Often throughout the day, I will have a sudden moment of clarity and realize just how lucky I am to be doing what I love for a living.
So many people deserve thanks (and a big giant hug!). Design directors and mentors that inspired and encouraged me. Fellow freelancers that openly shared their experiences. Parents and friends cheering us on. And of course, all of our loyal clients and the huge group of people that we partner with to create all the amazing work.
Together in the last two years, we've worked on some incredible projects, including large events (Lumenocity, Belterra LIVE!, Summermusik Festival, etc.), websites (Copper Creek Homes, Jeff Thomas Catering, etc.), identity systems, packaging, presentations, infographics, event and trade-show graphics, annual reports, posters, T-shirts, in-store merch, theme boards, brainstorm sessions and more. With a great balance of nonprofit and corporate clients to challenge us and stretch us in new ways of thinking and working, we've been busy!!!
We've also been blessed to photograph not only our staples of family, kids and individuals but also the gorgeous custom-built homes of Copper Creek Homes, gourmet food dishes by the talented Jeff Thomas Catering team, the really REAL day-in-the-life for TANK bus riders and recently, intimate in-home consumer interviews with P&G!
Thank you, thank you to all the people who have supported us so far and to all of you we will work with in the future! Also a huge I-want-to-hug-you thank you to all the talented people that have helped make the magic happen...you da best!
